Our raw materials

In our confectionery everything is baked with real butter and in a craftsmanship with great love and passion. We choose our raw materials carefully and as far as we can from local growers. All our food is homemade from scratch without additives.

Education and barista

We are complete diplomats and really passionate about our coffee. We have full education training as baristas all categories.

In the heart of the Old Town in an idyllic urban environment, with love for the coffee culture in one of Eksjös oldest houses you will find a curious pastry shop. Here are many old treats with an emphasis on modern classics. Fresh lunches and generous opening hours creates intimate encounters.

In our serving you will find our ”retro” old style room with the furniture from the famous Eksjö patisserie Gunnings, or settle down in our modern part with our own appearance. Enjoy your visit in our outdoor seating either in our cozy courtyard or with your eyes towards the Old Town by our front entrance.

We love to serve the best and with high quality. We prepare our hot dishes and grilled toast in one of the best oven in the market, Merrychef. This is to give your taste experience additional juiciness and bread good crispness. Here you can also enjoy a cold beer, a glass of red, white wine, or why not a prosecco. We have full rights all year round.

In our range you will find a large variety of good dishes. Here are lunches, classic soup buffet, grilled toast, baked potatoes, our own shrimp or chicken mix. There is also a large selection of delicious pastries made from a large portion of love and everything is understood with real butter. We also make home baked sandwiches of very high quality and our cakes delivered after ordering. For those who are allergic, vegetarian, vegan is also a good selection, talk to our staff, and we will help you!

Here we have the ambition to give you the best experience and this applies not least to our coffee. Roasting, ground coffee beans, quality and aromas are important factors because we can proudly serve our guests with a really good cup of coffee. The result is a well-balanced organic coffee that offers your senses.

The Old Town is the place if you want to enjoy a Belgian waffle while looking out over the old town`s center street and our cozy outdoor seating.

Genuine goods

Crispy homemade Belgian waffles with love and accessories of all kinds and fantastic organic coffee are served here! You can also freely combine our entire ice cream range from Grenna icecream to your own taste! The waffles are baked immediately and served warm and crispy!

Fresh strawberries

When the swedish season starts with strawberries, these delicious berries are also offered for our crispy waffles. Can swedish summer get better?

We are proud dealer of Grenna Icecream. All icecream is made on its own with the best raw materials without additives, a Småland delicate ice cream. In addition to the standard assortment of cream ice cream, we also have completely vegan flavors and use coconut cream and almond milk as a base. Below you will find the flavors we have in our store.
